BOBI WINE UNVEILS PEOPLE POWER COORDINATION TEAM
Many Uganda view the new formation as the last hope for the country in attaining democracy after over three decades from incumbent President Museveni who is described as a total disguise to democracy.
Finally the long awaited People’s Power government structure has been released by Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine in Kampala.
The structure however lacks heavy weight political figures who are undoubtedly influential in the Ugandan political arena.
People’s Power, a new political pressure group founded by Kyadondo East, Member of Parliament Hon. Robert Sentamu Kayagulanyi is a new political force openly challenging incumbent President Museveni of the ruling National Resistance Movement-Party.
The group is comprised of democratic seeking forces dominated by the Ugandan young population to rally support ahead of 2021 presidential poll against the Uganda longest sitting president.
The new formation is viewed by many Ugandans as the last hope for the country to reclaim its democracy from the Despotic leader President Museveni who had ruled the country since 1986 under the guise of democracy.
However, some political critics are skeptical on the composition of the leadership structure unveiled today to stir up the country to capture power in 2021.
Okello Jimmy says he was expecting highly placed politicians from Acholi Sub Region like of Norbert Mao the Secretary General for Democratic Party-DP, Cecilia Atim Ogwal from Lango Sub Region and Dr. Olara Otunnu, the former UN Under Secretary for Children Affairs who would grace the political bandwagon.
