UGANDA: CORRUPTION ROCKS OMORO NUSAF OFFICE, 1.5 BILLION SHILLINGS FOR NODDING DISEASE SYNDROME DISAPPEARS.

OMORO-UGANDA: Norbert Mao Party President of Democratic Party (DP), was quoted saying, “fish begin to rot from it head”. So it’s true, Mr. John Bosco Akera the Omoro Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) he is allegedly behind the Graff.
The Omoro CAO does not stay in his office as he is always attending workshop in Kampala, he does not attend to the official government business.
On Monday July 1, 2019, Omoro District official, the NUSAF office was in Katikwir District for buying cattle meant for the 60 difference NUSAF group; besides that each group should have bought 20 ox ploughs in, sources revealed.
However, as it turns out NUSAF officials bought less than the expected numbers of cow; each group received only 8 cows, the reason is beyond the community leaders.
Odong John from Aromo Wang-lobo, Odek Sub County whose daughter is among the Nodding Syndrome says he was supposed to get two bulls and ox plough, but failed to get none of the item, Odong said.
“We were told at the beginning that we are going to get 40 cows, it was budgeted UGX 20 billion, but the budget was cut to and reduced to UGX 8 million, Odong revealed.
However, Dr. Simon Aliker, the Omoro District NUSAF Officer when contact for comment, he did not pick up his repeated calls. Or replied back Whatsap messages to him about the alleged graff.
The sources from Omoro District in the office of CAO is alleged to be part of the racket, sources alleged
“Chief Administrative Officer Mr. Akera he does not sit even for an hour in his office, when he come either to sign the document, or on appointment.” Sources revealed.
The attempt to reach him on phone was futile as he cannot pick his phone.
Damascus Odongo the District Speaker however, when he was contacted for comment says the person who has been authorized to speak on NUSAF issues is Mr.Franseco Wadok Awori, the Chairman for Works and Social Welfare, but promised to follow up the issues.
Nyerere Arno, the Councilor V for Odek Sub County when he also contacted, says the NUSAF issues is now being investigated by the IGG. But promised to provide more information later.
“Nodding Disease Syndrome the issues is very complicated, as we talk now many people are going to lose their job.” Nyerere disclosed.
