Almost 98% of countries all over the word have carried out lock down.and this has affected the world economy as analysed by professor Stephanie Kelton chief economist at U.S senate budget committee
On the struggles traditional herbalist in Acholi needs their local herbal medicine commonly used in curation of common cold to be tested for covid19 . by authority. Opwony Patrick a traditional herbalist age 31 a resident of Kati Kati Pakuba village Alokolum ongako sub county Omoro district a founder director of Kony kwo herbal medicine centre situated at Lacor trading opposite St Mary Hospital Lacor narrated to Oyengyeng publication reporter.

My grand mother grooms me on Acholi traditional medicinal practices and their system of fighting pandemic .thus I became experts in treating gonorrhea, asthma, malaria, urinary truck infection, veineous inefficiency,back pain , painful menstruation, diarrhea, candida .etc

Irene a medic at St Mary Hospital Lacor narrated that I came to know about Herbalist Opwonya from one of his female client he did rescued from the mouth of combined life threatens proposed incurable sexual transmitted diseases and that lady introduced me to Opwonya. I never thought about my profession because I spent almost 500,000 Uganda-shillings o modern medicine but never recover from veineous inefficiency. covid-19 medicine to be tested
I need Natural Chemotherapeutic Research Centre and world health organisation to test the herbal medicine i have discovered for covid19 so that million of lives from all over the word can get rescue if it turn the way I believed. Am no longer able to take my newly discovered herbal medicine to research centre for qualitative petrochemical analysis test due to lock down. now I urged the natural drugs authority and natural chemotherapeutic research centre to take deeds and response to the request urgently .herbalist Opwonya lamented
Doctor Nambatya Grace Kyeyune Director of Natural Chemotherapeutic Research Center while contacted by Oyeng yeng Publication Reporter said our centre have not received any sample of invented or discovered medicine for covid19 due to lock down but we are arranging to get the ways of linking to herbalist after the the uplift of bane on public transport now we have referred many herbalist to take their herbal medicine to the regional chemotherapeutic research
Doctor Nambatya cautioned some of the hebalist who went on media and declared them self that they have confirmed medicine for covid19 she said it is only the minister of health to declare after authorization from world health organisation
.Doctor Nambatya explained that 60 percent of Ugandan depend on traditional medicines as some of the area are in remote and there is no developed infrastructure that can easily link patients to hospital. the need to involves traditional herbalist are on the pipe line doctor appealed to the public to abolish criticism on herbalist and advised the herbalist not to mix up spirituality, health and witchcraft and advised them to summit to referral system .
