UGANDA: ASWA WEST SPOKESPERSON DISMISSES SOCIAL MEDIA PROPAGANDA OF CUTTING HEAD IN ACHOLI SUB REGION
Warns social media and all media houses to be targeted for computer missuses
The Aswa West Regional Police Spokesperson warns the people in Acholi sub region to desist from creating media propaganda that there are groups of people who are cutting people head, says what is being shared in social media showing headless bodies of people who allegedly being cut, is not from the north or any part of Uganda.
“It ture that there some picture which was seen in social media showing Uganda Police Forces holding head that happened in western Uganda, but the head was from the seances of accident. there was motorider who got accident from rial. but is head was not cut. those photos in the social media was taken from Nigerian Bookoharm and same are from DR.Congo, not in Northern Uganda.” David Mudong refuted.
Oyengyeng,com online publication on Saturday November 9, reported that there were two bodies of people displayed parriaded in Gulu Regional Referral hospital on Wednesday 9, 2024. however, Gulu Regional Hospital Attendant George Omroma refuted that there is no bodies without head, and confirmed by Oyengyeng news desk too.
